Week 70 in Ecuador

We are working again and are going to have 3 baptisms saturday. I am having a lot of fun and learning a lot.

Week 69 in Ecuador

I am doing really good.  For this week its carnival so we cant really work too much cause everyone is just drinking and having water fights. So we have to stay in the house.

Week 68 in Ecuador

My week was super good and we did have hermano ferdinans baptism. Sometimes its just kinda sad to see how some peoples lives are but amazing to see how well they can take it or how happy they are even though their lives are difficult.  Today we played capture the flag and just saw one family.  We went to a baptism for a family that elder  atacames and forestal have been working with.

Week 67 in Ecuador

Elder Gee and I get along great hahaha. I don't think valentines day exists here or not..... i am guessing it doesnt cause i forgot about it. Happy valentines day though!!!! This week we had a bunch of lessons and today we went and played soccer on the beach in "Las Palmas".  We are supposed to have a baptism Wednesday! We have been eating some pretty good food!!! I am in the coast so there isn't bad food.

Week 66 in Ecuador

I am staying in propicia and will get elder gee as my companion which is super cool..... my first companion from the U.S. since my training.  I am going to visit madison in school if she goes to freedom.....(and talk to my old spanish teacher who said i would never learn) hahahaha. My week was super great and we got a new surprise in the mission which I am super excited for!!!!!!  MY MISSION NOW HAS PART OF COLOMBIA!!!!!!!  I have only 7 months left on my mission and am hoping to go to otavalo or colombia.

Week 65 in Ecuador

We watched the world wide broadcast with president during our meeting and it was super cool. Our schedule was changed so we can make our own schedule based on our sector and also do what we feel is the most efficient in our sector.  I am doing super well and am excited for this next week to get changes.... well actually i got a new companion Elder Cañete from argentina but he is only going to be with me for a week and is than going to finish his last 6 weeks training in a different sector. He used to be secretary but is now the zone leader which is super awesome and i am learning a lot from him.

Week 64 in Ecuador

Here it has been raining alot and flooding the streets. My shoes were wet for two days until I learned if you put them behind the fridge they dry up in a couple hours. This week was just doing lots of the normal stuff. Also our phone is now broken so we have to use pay phones which costs a lot more than having a cellphone. It rains all the time here. All the investigators are doing good and are progressing and we should be able to baptize alot in the coming months. 

Oh i forgot we were eating lunch in a restaurant friday and a homeless kid asked for food so i invited him to sit by us and gave him half of my plate.... i guess i did do service but didnt remember.
